Candlesticks for summer gatherings.

I have been handbuilding candlesticks for years and I’m obsessed how they can spruce up every table setting so quickly and effortlessly! At the same time they are their own piece of sculptural art.

In this class I will teach you to make a pair of candlesticks yourself! These are handbuilt out of 1 piece of clay. I will go over basics of handbuilding as well as finishing a piece and provide you with some ideas and inspiration. No clay experience needed. But your hands will get a little dirty and your clothes too. (It all comes off with water and in the wash, just don’t wear your nicest clothes)

There will also be light refreshments, like seltzer and snacks and some good tunes. If you want to make it extra special you can byob! It will be an intimate setting and so much fun! Come alone or bring a friend it will be great either-way!

After the workshop I will fire the pieces in-house with a glaze of your choice and they will be ready for pick up within 14-ish days of the workshop. For an extra fee I can ship them to you too.

This workshop is great for anyone 12 and older.

My studio is located at 8 Lind St, Oxford, MA there’s plenty of parking and it is right off I-395.

Please note that Workshop Tickets are non-refundable. I need to plan ahead with supplies and stuff so I need to have a headcount. However you can transfer it to another person if you won’t be able to attend.
